Our story

A small house, made by hand.

Five short chapters on where Haus of Sage began, what goes into every jar, and the family that pours it.

A set of minimalist, unbranded cosmetic and skincare containers on a seamless white background, including a pump bottle, a cylindrical tube, a dropper bottle, a jar, a spray bottle, and a rollerball bottle.
A woman lying on a bed holds a small jar of Blue Loo Soak feet bath salts. The jar has a white label with the brand name 'BLUE LOO SOAK' and the scent 'Cloud Nine', topped with a swirl of light blue bath salts.

Chapter one

Where the warmth comes from.

A heritage you can feel, and a search for skincare that didn't fight back.

Haus of Sage began with Claudia, in [year], and skin that reacted to almost everything on the shelf. [One or two sentences in your own words: the moment you started making your own.]

Her Mexican heritage shaped everything that came next. Not the ingredients, which come from where they grow best, but the feeling: terracotta walls, long mornings, and the belief that what goes on your skin deserves the same care as what goes on your table.

Chapter two

What your grandmother already knew.

Grass-fed tallow, raw botanicals, and nothing you can't name.

Long before the modern beauty counter, tallow was how skin was cared for. Its fat profile is close to the fat in our own skin, which is why it melts in so easily and why one jar can replace a shelf of products.

We use 100% grass-fed, grass-finished tallow from U.S. farms, rendered slowly and whipped by hand. Around it sits a library of raw botanicals: calendula, rose, rosemary, chamomile, and Egyptian blue lotus. No synthetic fragrance, no preservatives, no dye.

Chapter three

Made by Claudia. Helped by family.

Small batches, poured by hand, in Orlando, Florida.

Haus of Sage is family and woman owned. Claudia formulates every product, and her family helps pour, label, and pack each batch. The hands that make the product are the same ones that started the brand.

Because everything is handmade, no two batches are exactly alike. A slightly different color or texture from one pour to the next isn't a flaw. It's the mark of a person, not a machine.

Chapter four

Every jar has a story you can look up.

A batch number on every product, and a guarantee that lasts as long as you do.

Turn over any Haus of Sage jar and you'll find a batch number. Enter it on our Find Your Batch page to see when it was poured, what went into it, and where those ingredients came from.

If it's not on the label, it's not in the jar. And if a product isn't right for your skin, it's covered by our lifetime money-back guarantee.
